Privacy Policy
Effective August 15, 2026
This policy explains what Apex Corporate Services, LLC (ApexClerk) collects when you use apexclerk.com, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
1. What we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details — name, email address, telephone number, and your role in the entity.
- Entity information — entity name, charter or filing number, entity type, formation date, and addresses. Most of this is already public record at the Secretary of State.
- Correspondence — what you write in a contact, quote, or partner enquiry form.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data — pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device type.
- Advertising identifiers — where you reach us from an advertisement, the click identifier that lets us tell which campaign brought you. We keep this so we can measure advertising accurately.
- Acceptance records — when you agree to our service terms we record the date, time, IP address, and browser, as evidence of that agreement.
What we do not collect
We do not collect or store full payment card numbers or bank account numbers — those go directly to our payment processor. We do not ask for Social Security numbers, and we do not collect health information.
2. Why we use it
- to provide registered agent services, including delivering documents served on your entity;
- to prepare and file documents with a Secretary of State on your behalf;
- to take payment and manage renewals;
- to reply to enquiries and provide support;
- to send transactional email about your service — confirmations, filing receipts, deadline notices, and renewal notices;
- to measure how our website and advertising perform; and
- to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.
If you begin a signup and do not finish it, we may email you once to offer to pick it up where you left off. That email includes a way to tell us not to contact you again.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Secretaries of State — information necessary to make a filing you have asked us to make. Filed information generally becomes public record.
- Service providers — the vendors that run this business: our database and hosting providers, our payment processor (Stripe), our email provider, and our analytics and advertising measurement providers (Google). Each is permitted to use the information only to provide its service to us.
- Referral partners — where you reached us through a referral partner, we confirm to that partner that your entity was referred by them. We do not share the contents of documents received on your behalf.
- When required by law — in response to lawful process, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
- On a business transfer — to a successor if our business is sold, subject to this policy.
4. Documents served on your entity
Documents we receive as your registered agent are treated as confidential. We scan them, deliver them to your designated contact, and retain them for our records. We disclose them only to you, to someone you have authorised in writing, or where the law requires.
5. Cookies and measurement
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, to remember a signup in progress so a refresh does not lose your answers, and to measure how the site and our advertising perform through Google Analytics and Google Ads.
Where you arrive from an advertisement, we store the click identifier so that a resulting signup can be attributed to the correct campaign. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies; blocking them may stop parts of the signup flow from remembering your progress.
6. How long we keep it
We keep client and entity records for as long as we act as your agent and afterwards for as long as needed to meet legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations. Enquiries that do not become clients are kept for a reasonable period and then deleted. Incomplete signups are deleted if they are not completed.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. Payment details are handled by our payment processor and never stored on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices
- Access and correction — ask us what we hold about you and have inaccuracies corrected.
- Deletion — ask us to delete personal information, subject to records we must keep to meet legal obligations or to continue acting as your agent.
- Email — transactional emails about your service are part of the service and cannot be switched off while it is active. Any other email includes an unsubscribe link.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights. Write to info@apexbl.com and we will tell you what applies and act on your request.
9. Children
This site is for business use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it last changed. Where a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will tell you by email.
